Character: Frozen dry powder

Molecular formula: C₁₉H₁₆N₅NaO₇S₃

Description: White or dark yellow crystalline powder, odorless and readily absorbing moisture, freely soluble in water.

Quality Specification:

      Content: 85% min

      Melting point: 350 DC (decomposed)

      Heavy metals: 20 ppm max

      Loss on drying: 3% max

      PH: 5.5 - 5.7

Application:

It can be used to treat the chronic respiratory tract disease and many concomitant  symptoms of many domestic animals, such as chicken, pig, horse, cattle,etc.

Ceftiofur is the only one of the third generation cephalosporins approved for animal purpose.
